Description: Students who intend to pursue a major in mathematics, engineering, or sciences should select this course. The first half of the course is a study of analytic geometry, theory of limits, derivative of a function, chain rule, and differentials. The second half of the course is a study of derivative application and integrals. Students will continue on to the C portion of Advanced Placement Calculus in the second semester and will have the option to take the ABC Calculus exam. Students who score well on the exam may earn college credit for Calculus I and/or Calculus II. |
