Description: This course will include the study of triangle and angle measures, as well as a study of circular functions. The properties of the six functions are explored. All of the sum and difference formulas and related reduction formulas are developed. Identities are studied extensively and are used to explore the properties of functions. Graphs of functions and inverse functions are explored, and applications of circular and trigonometric functions to complex numbers are investigated. Students are exposed to basic conic sections and their relationship to the coordinate plane. |
