Description: This course helps students understand and integrate strategies for change that include promoting personal, community and global health behavioral changes. The course explores each domain of health and wellness; physical, social, emotional, environmental, and spiritual. Specific topics covered include managing stress, healthy relationships, addictive substances, nutrition essentials, personal fitness, chronic disease, and the aging process. This course is a dual enrollment course allowing students to earn 3.0 college credits from Montgomery County Community College (additional fee). Students seeking dual credit must be 15 years of age at the start of the course. |
