| Description: This course provides students with the opportunity to experience a musical art form that is like no other. The students will learn the nuances of jazz music as they relate to various styles in the jazz idiom. The students will learn to improvise with rhythmic and band accompaniment. The jazz band participates in local and regional jazz festivals. The jazz band also performs for community events within the local area and region. |
