Students enrolled in this ensemble will also participate in the high school concert band program. Concerts are the culmination of the rehearsal and application of concepts covered in the classroom and concerts are mandatory. |
| Description: This course is designed for the more proficient musician. Students will study classical and contemporary literature of varied time periods and styles available to the medium. Music selected for this ensemble will be of greater difficulty both technically and musically. The difficulty level of the music will require the student to practice at home on a regular basis. There may be some evening rehearsals prior to concerts and special events. This ensemble participates in all school concerts, graduation, district band concert, and any scheduled performances outside of school. |
