This group is for Sopranos and Altos in grades 9 and 10. Basic vocal technique and sight-reading skills will be taught to the members of the choir. Repertoire specifically written for treble/upper-register voices will be studied. Works from varying genres, including classical, pop/rock, contemporary, and acapella pieces will be rehearsed and performed at the winter and spring concerts, for which attendance is mandatory. Sopranos and Altos in grades 11 and 12 are also welcome to join this group.
