| Prerequisite | Previous performance experience. Incoming 9th grade students must have permission from their middle school orchestra director and the high school orchestra director to register for this course. Other students must have the permission of the high school orchestra director. Participation in both the winter and spring concerts is mandatory. |

| Description: This course is designed to meet the needs of the more advanced instrumentalist. It is a smaller, select group of musicians who are very serious about playing their instruments. Repertoire will be more challenging both technically and musically. Along with the winter and spring concerts, students are also asked to perform special concerts for different events in the school district and community throughout the year. Students enrolled in this course are eligible to participate in PMEA festivals. |
