| Description: The Lab Jazz Band course provides an opportunity for students to explore various styles within the jazz genre, including swing, bebop, Latin jazz, fusion, and contemporary jazz. Students will develop skills in improvisation, ensemble playing, sight-reading, and music theory while also gaining an understanding of the historical and cultural context of jazz music. Students will have the opportunity to perform at concerts, festivals, and other events both within the school community and beyond. |
