Description:

In this class, students will learn the basics of music theory and will apply these bascis to elementary composition.  In addtion to learning the theories and the application to organize sound, the students will also participate in activities that will train their listening abilities.  This course is the prerequisite for Honor Music Theory II.  This course will also greatly benefit students from the beginner level to students on track towards a career in music.  In this course, students will further their musical training with a comprehensive dive into music literacy, building blocks of harmony, composition, arranging, ear-training, sight-singing, and more.
