Description: Music lovers will broaden their knowledge and appreciation of various styles of music ranging from Renaissance to Rock. Their listening habits will improve, they will be able to place music in its time historically, name famous musicians/composers, respond and critically evaluate performances, produce and/or perform music and describe the creative process involved. This course is not only valuable to the student who plans on making music his or her profession, but to the appreciative listener as well. |
