Exploring the Visual Arts is a survey quarter course intended as an introduction for students interested in taking an art elective, but unsure of where their particular strengths or interests lie. It serves as an introduction to a variety of materials and processes used in making art. Projects may include many practical design experiences, such as drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, mosaic, and fine craft, Art historical references will serve as inspiration for each project. No sketchbook will be required.
