Description: This course is designed for students who enjoy thinking about and being in the outdoors and nature, and who also enjoy taking an active role in their community. Students with interests in environmental issues such as climate change, deforestation, and SAVEing the environment are encouraged to consider this course. Students will learn about these topics and have an opportunity to hear other people’s perspectives. Various fiction and non-fiction resources will be used to explore these environmental themes. |
