Have you ever experienced an orange? Performed before a TV camera? Would you like to gain more self-confidence when getting up in front of a group? If any of these things appeal to you, try Theater Arts. It is a general introduction to the theater, but it is not taught in the usual way. In this course, you learn by doing, and if former students are any criteria, you should enjoy it very much. Games, skits, pantomimes, and solo work are just some of the exercises students encounter. Also included is learning about theater vocabulary, history, and styles of plays. Note: Theater Arts must be taken as an elective English course and does not fulfill the Primary English Course requirement.
