Activity: SAVE (Students Against Violating the Earth) - GHG (Greenhouse Growers) - Aquaponics Club
Type: Service
Description:

SAVE is a volunteer group of environmentally conscious students who work to bridge the gap between school and community by raising awareness of environmental issues that are both local and global. Rooted in the environment, and branching into the community, students are dedicated to community service and education.

Within SAVE, the Greenhouse Growers Group is dedicated to raising awareness and providing solutions to environmental problems related to agriculture, horticulture, and species conservation. We hold recycling days, plant sales and other community events.

Also a division of SAVE, the Aquaponics Club strives to introduce a unique way of growing quality produce through an aquaponics system in the greenhouse. The goal is to grow nutrient-rich food for the school and community to enjoy.
