Description:

This course will prepare students for entry-level information and communication technology careers.  They will study computer hardware and software and will learn the skills needed to design, diagnose, and troubleshoot personal computers and their operating systems.  Topics include hardware/software installation, upgrades, and maintenance, operating systems, networking basics, and security.  A significant portion of the course will involve hands-on experience solving hardware/software issues in a lab environment.

 

This course is also designed to train those that want to become computer support technicians through taking the CompTIA A+ certification exam.
