Description: AP computer Science is a rigorous course of study designed to be the equivalent of a first-semester college level computer science course. This course emphasizes object oriented programming methodology with a concentration on problem solving and algorithm development. It also includes the study of data structures, design, and abstraction. The curriculum will prepare the student to perform his or her best on the AP Computer Science exam.
