Description: Students will explore career opportunities in architectural design & construction by applying elements of technical sketching, and computer aided design. Students will learn sketching and drawing techniques using the drafting table and equipment.Students will receive an introduction to CAD and apply that knowledge to create an exterior elevation, floor plan, plot plan, and section-view drawing. Students will also learn the tools and techniques needed to create 3D rendered models and walk thorough animations. This class is designed for the individual that is interested in design, architecture, and CAD. Future course recommendations are CAD 1 and CAD 2. |
