This course will provide students with essential skills related to citizenship, law and criminal justice. Rights and responsibilities in each of these areas will form the basis of the course content. Specific units to be studied include: Crime, Criminal Justice, Juvenile Justice, and Civil Law. All of the material covered in this course will be directly relevant to the student's future. Each student will be required to complete performance assessments (major projects) utilizing course skills and community, state and national resources.
