Description: Medical Applications is a course designed for students who have a strong interest in pursuing a medical or health career after high school. This course will replace NMTCC's Allied Health for Souderton students. The course will open with a review of biological concepts and medical ethics and legalities and include topics us as: vital signs and pain assessment, diseases and infection control, and caregiving skills. Students will learn career-related skills in the classroom, then practice the skills in various medical settings with professionals. |
