This course involves the study of weather and the earth's atmosphere. Cloud forms, precipitation types, fronts, pressure centers, winds, seasons, recording weather data, and reading/interpreting weather maps are at the heart of the course. Additional topics covered include extreme weather and issues related to climate change. Through this course, students will also be familiarized with how to retrieve weather data using a variety of resources.
