Description:
Honors Physics is designed to prepare students for the highly technical world of the twenty-first century. This course is highly academic in nature, and students should anticipate being challenged both in critical thinking and problem solving abilities. Topics to be explored include Newton's Three Laws of Motion, momentum, work and energy circular motion, gravitation, rotational motion, electrostatics, circuits, magnetostatics, and induction. Students will see first hand how nature operates with frequent lab work and classroom demonstrations. This course includes extensive mathematical calculation.
